Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CodeGuard AI (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
CodeGuard AI is an AI-powered platform for real-time security analysis, pull request auditing, task and sprint management, and vulnerability remediation, with optional integrations for GitHub and Google Calendar.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
3. Connected accounts (GitHub, Google Calendar)
Some features require you to connect a third-party account, such as GitHub or Google Calendar. You grant CodeGuard AI permission to access only the data described at the time you connect the account (see our Privacy Policy), and you may revoke this access at any time from within the app. CodeGuard AI is not responsible for the availability or behavior of these third-party services.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to access repositories, data, or accounts you are not authorized to access.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates GitHub's or Google's own terms of service.
5. AI-generated content
Some features (task suggestions, summaries, security narratives) are generated with AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated suggestions before acting on them, especially anything related to security decisions.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, add to, or remove features of the Service at any time.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect any connected accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeGuard AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above whenever we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
